Press Release: Humans since 1982 in collaboration with Audi

Humans since 1982 are proud to reveal their latest collaboration with Audi at the fair Design Miami/.

The studio is presenting an art installation including three oversized spotlights that are arranged around the new Audi e-tron quattro concept. In each spotlight is a projector. All three projectors are interconnected and show a collage of video sequences with phenomenons in the sky: Lightnings, sun and a transforming swarm of birds. The video content refers to the cars’ nature: It is electric driven, able to fuel solar power and is aerodynamically optimised.

For the artists Per Emanuelsson and Bastian Bischoff it was important to highlight these aspects. Therefore they literally put the lightnings, sun and birds into the spotlights, namely in the form of video projections, which - at the same time - highlight the Audi e-tron quattro within the fair.
Besides, the presence of the spotlights - with their iconic shapes - are simply evidence of something important that is worthwile to be highlighted.

The installation will be displayed during 2 - 6 December 2015 at Design Miami/.
