Collection of Light is a collection of LEDs which together constitute an artwork that retains the functionality of it’s lighting components. Creating the aura of an authentic collection (similar to a collection of insects), the presentation simultaneously exposes each illuminant as a mass-produced industrial product. The LEDs are all labeled (with name, size and colour temperature) and arranged in a specific order to accomplish harmonic light.

For the 70 and 120 version of Collection of Light, original 70 year-old insect collection drawers from the Museum of Natural History in Stockholm (Naturhistoriska Museet) were refurbished and repurposed to house these new light collections.
